The grand opening sale is going great, and there is a little more than a week to go until the sale is over. I wanted to take the time to post about how JC Auto Design handles inventory, orders, and shipping. Generally items don't exist when you order them, they are printed to order and will typically ship within 7 calender days of payment. Most products are printed to order. This is done so that if there are any changes to a product, there is minimal "old stock". This also is a good conservation of material. When you place your order on these items, your order is placed in queue, and is made on a first come first served basis. Because of this, most orders ship within 7 calender days. If your order is delayed, you will receive an email from me with a short explanation. The exceptions will be noted on the product page. For example, my Rear Upper Link Risers are printed in batches, then dyed, and packaged. These are typically in stock and ready to ship the next business day. Another example is the Karnage Jr. Chassis Kit. This kit includes parts from various suppliers, and I typically will only have one of each color on hand ready to ship. Currently this kit has the note: "May take up to 2 weeks to ship due to supplier delays." This is because the chassis plates and hardware kits are on order, and I am waiting on those from the supplier. Shipping I generally use US Postal Service First Class for shipment, due to the size and weight of my products. Larger orders will usually use Priority or Standard options, but other arrangements can be made. When I purchase the shipping label for your order, Paypal updates the transaction with the tracking number. Normally I purchase the labels in batches, and it is not usually an indicator that your item is shipping that day. USPS updates their tracking info in the evenings, and often they are slow to update the actual progress of your package. Also, if any items arrive damaged from shipping, please let me know as soon as possible so I can get a replacement to you.
